The area boasts a population of more than 14,000, with a median household income of just over $41,900. I-75 runs a few miles to the east to Sarasota Springs, offering a straight shot to cities like Tampa, Bradenton, and Fort Myers. Within the boundaries of Sarasota Springs are Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, Brentwood Elementary School, Walgreens, Little Caesar's, and Denny's, as well as quite a few churches. You do not have to go far for necessities, meals, medical care, and your children's schooling in this area. For family entertainment, Evie's Family Golf Center is located in the southern portion of Sarasota Springs. On the outskirts of the area are the Palm Plaza Shopping Center with its numerous stores and Urfer Family Park with its playgrounds, walking trails, fitness trail, picnic pavilion, and wetlands area. 

Living in Sarasota Springs puts you just a few miles away from a variety of attractions and activities. Along with the beaches, you can check out the gardens and exotic animals at Sarasota Jungle Gardens. To the north is the Bobby Jones Golf Club, while to the south is TPC Prestancia and the Country Club of Sarasota. Also nearby is Ed Smith Stadium, the spring training home of the Baltimore Orioles. Roughly 20 minutes away is the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Residents of Sarasota Springs are convenient to just about any amenity that Sarasota has to offer.
