San Remo Estates - West of Trail

San Remo Estates is a fine example of a waterfront subdivision with 20.47 acres of land and almost all residences having direct access to the Sarasota Bay. Residents just cross over a charming drawbridge along Siesta Drive and find themselves at the Bay.

There are only 68 homes here, so they go quickly when they are available for sale. This historically-rich subdivision is styled mostly in typical well-preserved Florida ranch homes with Florida's charming 1950s architecture. They have large well-manicured lots and the expansive waterfronts in a sheltered water basin that are hard to find in the Sarasota area. Sprinkled in are new contemporary homes where a few of the older homes have been demolished.

Siesta Key Beach

This beach is only a short ten minutes away and is one of three on Siesta Key’s eight-mile stretch along the Gulf of Mexico of what was voted "the world's finest, whitest sand”, “the #1 beach in the United States”, and "The Best Sand Beach in America" due to its 99 percent pure quartz sand that manages to stay cool under the feet.

This beach is Sarasota's gateway to the sparkling azure waters of the Gulf. See dolphins, manatees, exotic birds, and enjoy viewing this paradise either on land or on the sea. This is an ideal location for fishing, boating, swimming, snorkeling, parasailing, kayaking, and other water sports along with year-round lifeguard protection. You will also find volleyball and tennis courts, a shaded picnic and playground area, and convenient concession stands. It is also within walking distance of Siesta Key Village with its numerous restaurants and shops.
